Calling LG’s 2017 OLED range a success is a bit of an understatement. It’s an odd range, though, with every model having exactly the same panel and picture processing tech. The main differences are the styling and speakers. You can spend on an LG OLED if you like, but its picture will be no better than the OLED55C7V we have on test.

The C7 and B7 are separated only by the pedestal stand and some other slight aesthetic details, but you’ll find the B7 from practically any TV retailer.

Aesthetic differences

Opinions are divided among the What Hi-Fi? team, though, with some prefering the B7’s crescent support and some prefering the “stiletto” stand. With superthin bezels and profile, both are neat, clean, stylish affairs that will make you the envy of any visitors.
