Our past lives slotted together like a jigsaw

Keeping it in the Family!

As I lay on the therapist’s couch, I felt relaxed and took a few deep breaths.

I had gone to see Jan Reid for an energy boost, and the hands-on healing was working.

Halfway through the session, Jan took me on a guided meditation.

I had asked for this visualisation because I was curious to see if I could access any past lives, which was something I had never done previously.

‘You see yourself in a forest,’ said Jan softly, ‘Walk into a clearing where you find a door in a tree, step through the door and you’ll find yourself in a tunnel. When you come out of the tunnel, you’ll be in a past life.’

Flying phobia

Suddenly, I was inside a World War II plane. I could see the sides of the aircraft, which were green, and hear the noisy engines.

The controls were out of sight, and I knew I was in the middle of the plane.

As I relived this past life, I was aware I was looking after someone who was injured.

Then I jumped forward in time and we were crashing.

I struggled and somehow escaped the flaming wreckage.

I remember limping away from the plane and that my right hip hurt.

The past life came to me in flashes, it wasn’t like watching a film, it was more fragmented. But the memory was clear, profound and it stayed with me.

The experience explained my phobias of flying, being trapped in a house fire – and my dodgy right hip.

I must have carried the injury over from that lifetime!

Terribly guilty
