It was September 2015. I was leading a paranormal investigation at Manor Farm Country Park in Bursledon, just outside Southampton.

There’s been a farm on the site for over 600 years.

Nowadays, it’s a tourist attraction, and the farmhouse is decorated as it would’ve been 100 years ago. But the building dates back to the 15th Century.

And we’d come to see if anyone from the farm’s past was lingering on in its present…

But when you’re looking for ghosts, old-fashioned techniques are sometimes better. So that night at Manor

Farm, we used a Ouija board. We’d set it up in one of the farmhouse’s bedrooms. ‘If there are any spirits here, speak to us,’ I called out.

The team huddled around the Ouija board, along with the guests we’d brought along.
