Inside Mona And Khulu's Love Paradise

Lovebirds are an inspiration to everyone, especially those who believe in the power of love.

IT WAS a foot injury that set alight sparks between the lovebirds, who have been together for two years and have a daughter together. The couple says they never imagined that they would end up together.

A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN 

Mona Monyane (26) and Khulu Skenjana (38) have known each other for years as they used to bump into each other at celebrity parties, but they never thought they would one day be a couple.

It took an accident where Mona hurt her foot after a tile fell on it for the two to really hit it off. Sparks flew and the two realised they were a perfect match. Mona says after the accident, Khulu charmed his way into her heart.

“He would come over to nurse me, cook for me and dress my wound until I got better. I knew from then that this is a guy I wanted to live with for the rest of my life. He is a very caring man and we share a lot of values. We are pan-Africanists and are both firm believers in African spiritualism and we worship our ancestors,” says the former Muvhango star. She adds that when they met, she wasn’t sure she was ready to be in a relationship. But she trusted her gut and opened up to Khulu.
