DJ Cuevoice explains how he started from the bottom to the top

PROMINENT, ambitious, entertaining and growing are some of the words being used to describe the people’s person, DJ Cuevoice. With less than half a decade in the music business and already blowing a wind strong enough to play across South Africa, he describes himself as a hard worker. Originally from Limpopo, Nkosinathi Banda (24) was raised in Joburg and fell in love with music at a young age.

INFLUENCED BY FRIEND’S PARENTS

He says his friend’s parents named him DJ Cuevoice because he loves playing acapella when he is on the decks.

“I developed a passion for music and I knew that this was what I wanted to pursue as a career. Every day after school I could not wait to go to my friend’s home just for the good sound his parents had, it was exciting,” he says.
