Forget Cake... It's All About Song!

Favourite TV presenter Mel is just loving her Pitch Battle – the new BBC entertainment choir singing show, that is!

She may have proved a huge hit as one half of the presenting duo on The Great British Bake Off but after swapping the world of cakes for music, Mel Giedroyc definitely has no regrets as she admits she is loving every second of it all.

Smiling, the 49-year-old star reveals she has never been so busy in her entire career following the decision to walk away from Bake Off when it moved to Channel 4 last year.

After presenting Let It Shine with Graham Norton, Comic Relief Let’s Sing and Dance with Sue Perkins and Eurovision with Scott Mills, Mel says she feels incredibly lucky to now be given the chance to host her first solo BBC1 entertainment series Pitch Battle, which will see five heats of six choir groups ranging from a capella, rock, musical theatre and country perform against each other before being whittled down to just one per round to go straight into the final.

Not surprisingly, Mel can’t stop pinching herself.
