The Sex and the City reboot gets its missing piece – model mum Nicole

She’s sassy, sexy, and successful – who better to pick up where Samantha Jones left off?

Excitement has been building for months about who will be filling the stiletto-heeled shoes of Samantha in And Just Like That…, the long-awaited Sex and the City reboot currently being filmed in New York.

Fans of the award-winning TV series that ended 17 years ago were at first dubious about how it could ever go on without seductive Samantha lighting up the lives of her three besties, Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs, and Charlotte YorkGoldenblatt.

But new details are now emerging about who that special someone is!

New character Lisa Todd Wexley – a powerhouse documentary maker and married mother-of-three – is played by Nicole Ari Parker, 50. And insiders say the actress/model has slipped seamlessly into the central coast of the popular show.

“Everyone has been saying there can never be another Samantha, but actually, Nicole’s character is very much inhabiting that space,” tells a show source.

“She’s someone who has come into Carrie’s life in the decades since the original show ended. She’s feisty and fearless, and she knows what she wants in life and in the bedroom. She has slipped very easily into the foursome.”
