The monarch will throw the book at her publicity-seeking grandson if she needs to

Bringing in the lawyers THE QUEEN'S PLAN TO FIGHT BACK

Her patience is finally wearing thin. For the past couple of years, the Queen has stood back and let her grandson, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, get on with making new lives for themselves away from the royal family.

While she has remained firm on several things that have had to change – including removing the couple’s royal patronages and stripping Harry of his honorary military titles – she’s been lenient on other matters, such as the pair striking deals to make money from collaborations with companies like Netflix and Spotify.

But following reports that an updated version of a book about their exit from royal life is critical of the family, Her Majesty ordered her staff to call in the lawyers in preparation for “fighting back”, says a well-placed royal source.

The legal team will also get ready to take possible action against a memoir Harry is writing, due to be published next year, if the book contains anything contentious.

The Queen is “exasperated with repeated attacks” on the family, tells the insider.

“The feeling, coming right from the top, is that enough is enough. There is a limit to how much will be accepted, and the Queen and the royal family can only be pushed so far.
