‘I've Been To Hell ' Michael's Fears For His Son

After an uncertain 18 months, the crooner is looking forward to more beautiful days with his family.

Canadian crooner Michael Bublé has revealed he nearly gave up music completely after his son Noah was diagnosed with cancer.

The singer has opened up about the trauma he and his family went through after his eldest son, then aged three, fell ill 18 months ago and how it changed his perspective on life.

“I truly thought I’d never come back to music,” he says. “Family is what matters. The health of my children is number one. The relationship with my family, my wife, my faith – all of it is easily number one.”

It is the first time Michael (42) has spoken about the impact Noah’s illness has had on him. “I don’t talk about the whole story, not even to my friends because it hurts too much. It’s my boy. He’s a superhero, he doesn’t need to relive it over and again. But I’ve been to hell.”

Michael – who is married to actress Luisana Lopilato and also father to Elias (2), says as well as changing his outlook on life, everything Noah has been through eventually led to him appreciating music more.
