Denise Van Outen tells Woman why she worries about her nine-year-old daughter being on Instagram

Denise Van Outen says that she’s concerned about how hooked kids are on social media and fears that they are losing out on vital social skills because of it.

And, as a mum herself, when it comes to whether her own nine-year-old daughter, Betsy, is permitted a mobile phone of her own, the Loose Women presenter and actress has exclusively revealed to Woman, ‘I don’t allow it.’

‘It’s worrying,’ admits Denise. ‘It worries me with kids. It worries me that my teenage niece is on social media posting pictures. It’s the communication thing that concerns me [the most], that they don’t know how to speak to people.’
