Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes are much-loved for their relatable bickering, with the pair openly discussing their rows both on and off screen.

But it seems that spending so much time together while covering Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning during the summer holidays has taken its toll on the couple.

After a series of on-screen bust-ups, Ruth, 61, has admitted that Eamonn, also 61, is ‘getting on her nerves’ and she often ‘goes mad’ at him.

‘I would defy any couple to work together and not get on each other’s nerves,’ she said.
