Wheeling his walking frame onto the airstrip, Ray Holley was smiling ear to ear as he prepared to take his first ever skydive.
Donning a skydiving suit and removing his false teeth, 91-yearold Ray, who is legally blind, made the brave leap last month.
A self-confessed “thrillseeker”, Ray admits he felt some nervous jitters as the plane reached 14,000 feet. But all his fears evaporated as soon as he jumped. “I wanted to stay up there, I didn’t want to come down,” an excited Ray tells Woman’s Day from his home at the Berkeley Vale Care Community on the NSW Central Coast.
