“I was feeling sad and emotional when my third and youngest daughter Skye was getting ready to leave our property and head offto boarding school at the age of 12,” Tricia tells Woman’s Day.
“I’d miss her so much, and it made me realise that as a bush kid, all she did to muck in and help with the running of our farm. Since the day she could walk, my little girl had been no stranger to hard yakka to help her family out. From caring for poddy lambs to feeding the dogs, sheep and horses and even cooking dinner, she loved life on the land.
