A shock report has rocked Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, just as she was re-establishing herself with the royal family. It’s been recently revealed that Fergie was detained and thrown into a police car outside Buckingham Palace.

The decidedly unregal behaviour has been documented by a leading royal biographer, who claims the duchess, 59, was not alone during her run-in with the law, and was joined by none other than Princess Diana.

The alleged incident – which happened on the night of Fergie’s hens’ party before she married Prince Andrew in 1986 – started out as a prank, but turned sour when the mischievous royals took their joke too far.
