When it comes to David and Victoria Beckham’s marriage, the writing’s been on the wall for quite some time. But Woman’s Day can reveal that the fashion designer has issued a final ultimatum to her roguish husband – “It’s time for sex therapy!”

The hunky football legend, who’s been seen out partying a lot without his wife since retiring from professional sport, has set tongues wagging due to his growing friendship with model and socialite Lady Mary Charteris.

The pair were spied recently enjoying drinks with other high-society pals at London hotspot Chiltern Firehouse, when a man trying to chat up Lady Mary was warned off by David, who protectively told him, “She’s with me.”

“Victoria knew nothing about it until it hit the newspapers the next day. She didn’t even know David was out having fun,” a source close to the pair tells Woman’s Day exclusively. “And she wasn’t impressed. It was only in February that he was in the headlines for partying hard with [model and actress] Poppy Delevingne. Now this.

“It’s the last straw. She’s signed them both up for classes with a sex coach, who has convinced her it’s possible to inject the spark back into their marriage. Vic says their sex life has always been their strongest asset, but it has dwindled over the past few months and she’s convinced that if they get it back to what it was, everything else will fall into place.”
