Harry's Nightmare Torn Between Love & Duty

Things are tough for the prince at home

When Prince Harry first laid eyes on his future wife, now the Duchess of Sussex, the smitten royal thought he’d finally found his fairy tale ending.

But as they approach their first wedding anniversary, the 34-year-old appears to be trapped in a spiralling nightmare as the woman he loves clashes with virtually everyone around them.

And with just two months until the birth of their first child – or twins as predicted – palace officials are panicked by what they see as an escalating crisis, with a miserable Harry caught right in the middle.

“Harry’s feeling increasingly torn as Meghan continues to push every possible royal boundary,” a royal insider tells Woman’s Day. “It’s putting an immense amount of pressure not only on their marriage, but on Harry’s relationship with the rest of the family and he’s finding himself isolated from the people he was once closest to.”

From the former Suits star’s birth plan to her diva demands and excessive spending habits, palace officials are at their wits’ end over Meghan’s refusal to toe the line. Even Prince Charles has waded in on certain issues, but the duchess appears determined to shake things up.

Just last week, she wrote messages of love and hope on bananas destined for sex workers, a bold move that’s believed to have shocked the Queen and other members of the royal family. Broadcaster Piers Morgan even spoke out, slamming the gesture as “patronising and meaningless”.
