J.Law's Bombshell: I'll Quit For Love

Keeping up with her beau proves tricky for the high-school drop out

She may be playing the title role in the provocative new movie Mother!, but Jennifer Lawrence insists she’s in no hurry to become one herself.

“I love kids, probably in the way any person who doesn’t have them loves them – until I don’t want them and I give them back,” the 27-year-old Oscar winner confides to Woman’s Day with a chuckle. “But I would like to have kids one day and I definitely have maternal stirrings. I just don’t really know the layout of my future right now.”

In Mother!, Jennifer stars as the wife of a famous poet, played by Javier Bardem, 48, whose marriage is tested when his fans descend on their home. It’s a sure recipe for domestic disaster, but conversely – after a tumultuous few years in which she split with her longtime boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, 27, and enjoyed an on-off love affair with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 40 – the actress’ own personal life looks more settled than ever.

Shortly after shooting was completed a year ago, she began dating Mother! director Darren Aronofsky, 48. Despite their 21-year age difference, their relationship has since gone from strength to strength, with Jennifer slowly forming a friendship with Darren’s 11-year-old son Henry, whose mother is My Cousin Rachel star Rachel Weisz, 47.
