They kept mum about their cousin dating a Hollywood actress, but now the shocked York sisters are getting the cold shoulder...

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle started secretly dating in 2016, few were trusted with the knowledge of their relationship – except Harry’s beloved cousins, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

Indeed, Eugenie, 31, and her now-husband Jack Brooksbank, 35, were with the couple in Meghan’s adopted home town of Toronto when news of Harry’s new girlfriend was first splashed across newspapers all around the globe.

“Harry and Eugenie have always been thick as thieves, and he was close with Beatrice growing up as well,” says a source. “Despite their age difference, they always stuck together at stuffy family events. Harry kept them endlessly entertained with his impish sense of humor, which rubbed off on them. They always had a great time together, well into adulthood– until the past few weeks.”

Sources say that Harry and Meghan’s correspondence with the York sisters has “cooled considerably” ever since a New York judge ruled that their father Prince Andrew’s sex abuse allegations will be heard in front of a civil court later this year.
