In what’s set to be a highly orchestrated show of unity, the estranged royal couples once dubbed the Fab Four are set to come face-to-face at a Remembrance Service on Sunday.

While insiders say they’ve promised advisors they’ll be cordial towards each other, Woman’s Day can reveal that relations between the Sussexes and the Cambridges have never been worse.

In fact, our source claims that although the Duchess of Cambridge has been concerned for Prince Harry and Meghan’s wellbeing, she can’t forgive the Duchess of Sussex for the recent TV interview in which she suggested the royal family had failed to support her since her wedding in May last year.

“Not many people have asked if I’m OK,” Meghan said in the documentary on her tour of Africa with Harry and baby Archie. She also criticized the British sensibility of a stiff upper lip, saying it was a “damaging” approach.

While many applauded Meghan for her raw honesty, our source believes, “It was the final straw for Kate. She’s appalled that Meghan has been so vocal and disrespectful. Any chance they had of friendship has been ruined.”

Always putting her royal duties at the forefront, Kate, 37, will continue to play nice for the cameras, but behind the scenes, the women are said to be “cold and distant”.

The palace insider says Kate feels she went above and beyond to support Meghan when she first joined the royal fray.
