The duchess breaks the rules again
Until now, birth arrangements for royal babies have been strictly controlled by palace-approved doctors, age-old traditions and a firm veil of silence.
But the Duchess of Sussex – who’s believed to be carrying twins – is ripping up the rule book when it comes to the arrival of her future heirs, and while she and Prince Harry are excitedly telling friends how they’ll welcome their little ones into the world, eyebrows have been raised over their very modern approach.
“Meghan is determined to do things as naturally as possible,” tells our insider. “She wants a hypno birth and has been reading a book called The Mongan Method to prepare herself. She’s being mentored by a natural birth tutor and is very keen on the idea of a water birth with no pain relief. She’s made it clear to her medical specialists that just because she’s a member of the royal family, she won’t adhere to old-fashioned traditions that she claims are totally out of date.”
As reported in Woman’s Day last week, it’s widely believed the royal couple are expecting twins after Meghan let slip at a Cirque du Soleil performance, “They are kicking like crazy!” The size of her bump – which was proudly on display in a figure-hugging peach mini dress on a visit to London’s National Theatre last week – has also got people talking about the possibility of two babies, not one.
