The monarch has ‘requested’ that her great-grandson come back to the UK

For the most part, the Queen has been keen to stay out of the drama involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their crusade against Prince Charles and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

But after a telling moment on their son Master Archie’s recent second birthday, sources say the 95-year-old monarch feels she has no choice but to step in and help mend Charles and his son’s failed relationship.

“When Charles posted a picture to Instagram of himself with Harry and a very tiny Archie, it was clear he hadn’t seen the little boy in quite some time,” says a source.

“This was brought to the attention of the Queen. Of course she knows that Charles barely knows his grandson, but now the whole world does, too.”

BACKLASH

Indeed, royal fans posting online went as far as to brand the Sussexes as “narcissistic” for not sharing their son with Harry’s family, and one commenter even wrote they “pitied” Archie.

“My heart aches for this two-year-old,” wrote another concerned fan. “Where are his friends, his grandparents, fussing around him.”

Newspaper reports have claimed Charles, 72, has met his grandson just twice.
