BUBBY UPTON justified her favourite status when she won the under-25 championship on her mother Rachel and the Zebedee Syndicate’s Magic Roundabout IV. This was Bubby’s second win in this class but her Bramham debut, having won it in 2021 when Bramham’s classes moved to Bicton.
“Back then, it was a bigger win for me because it was my first at that level and it was on Cannavaro, a horse that I never thought would even get to that level. So that victory was probably the most special of my career,” said 24-year-old Bubby.
“I felt a little bit of pressure this time and maybe people expected it. But of course, it’s still unbelievably sweet to win any class and the horse deserved it so much.”
