The Honda City e:HEV needs no introduction. With its super-efficient and advanced hybrid powertrain, it's made a name for itself, for it is the only mid-size sedan available with this cutting-edge technology. In fact, so brilliant is this tech that calling it an engineering marvel won't be an exaggeration. The City e:HEV has well and truly changed the game, and it would be right to say that the competition is still playing catch up ever since the hybrid sedan entered the Indian market.
What's even more interesting is that the City e:HEV isn't just a one-trick pony. While the hybrid technology makes this suave Honda sedan superior to its direct rivals, it also has a couple of more tricks up its sleeve. One such feature that makes the City e:HEV stand out from its rivals is called 'Honda Sensing' - a segment-first suite of driver assistance systems.
WHAT IS HONDA SENSING?
In short, it's an intelligent suite of ADAS (or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which is designed to alert and assist a driver in daily driving scenarios, making every drive safe and secure. The system uses a high-definition wide-angle camera to assist the driver. In the City e:HEV, there are a raft of such features, which include the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Auto High-Beam Assist (AHB). And, the City e:HEV is the only sedan in its segment to have these advanced features.
