Monet Tyler of Port Moody, British Columbia, has built her eighteen-year career in real estate on a bedrock of unwavering transparency, community involvement, and ongoing personalised service. "People really appreciate that I'm always there for them. If they text me at 11 PM, I'm there. If they call me because we're in the middle of a deal and they need reassurance, I'm there. I really put their interests first and I care about their stress or uncertainty - I tell my clients everything I know, every step of the way."
Prior to entering the world of real estate, Monet enjoyed a career as an educator in New Zealand. "I started as an elementary school teacher," she recalls. "Teachers make really great REALTORS - you need that kind of patience and empathy to connect with people.
It's important to take things slow and explain what you're thinking." In addition to her experiences in New Zealand, Monet has widely explored the globe, growing up in the United States and Canada and visiting over thirty-eight different countries. Her penchant for travel is both a lifelong passion and a tremendous boon to her enterprise. "I've met all kinds of different people and learned about various cultures - I love to learn from others and let them learn from me. I think that helps me connect with everybody in my neighborhood. I've got clients from forty-eight different countries, just in my hometown!"
In addition to her organic interpersonal networking, Monet goes to great lengths to establish a robust digital footprint. "I have a very extensive marketing plan," she exudes.
