Studies on skills, behaviours and traits prove that human beings may be born with some inherent incredible skills already, apart from the ones we develop on the go. Language, imaginative and safety skills are some examples of inborn traits. However, a majority of the skills that’s needed to win our way through the contemporary technological world are built through learning and development. Most of the good things and success in life come through applying these skills productively. Hence, it is important that we keep analysing, evaluating, and reskilling ourselves.
While in the process of growing up, we begin to discover our strengths, figure out what we are capable of doing and identify areas of improvement. How do you assess yourself? Keep a journal and track your accomplishments, the areas you succeeded with ease, the areas where you struggled a bit and the ones where you found yourself failing. Also, clock the passion levels you’ve shown for your endeavors. These metrics will let you know where to start from. As you already know, your interest in what you do makes a huge difference in the possibility of you eventually winning it. Always remain transparent and honest to yourself when doing your personal assessment.
