LIFE-SAVING organ transplants can have surprising side effects for recipients — such as personality changes or altered preferences for food, art and even sex, experts say.

A remarkable study from scientists at the University of Colorado built upon previous research linking heart procedures to behavioral shifts.

The team polled 47 participants, including 23 who received a new ticker. The survey showed an astounding 89 percent of patients reported post-op differences — no matter the transplanted organ!
