Making her first public appearance in two months, a beaming Duchess of Sussex proudly supported her husband as he was honoured at the 2024 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles.

Wearing a cream silk Oscar de la Renta gown reminiscent of the Stella McCartney one she wore for her evening wedding reception, the mother of two looked stunning as she appeared for the first time since her and the Duke’s three-day visit to Nigeria.

The couple rubbed shoulders with sports stars including former tennis champion Serena Williams, who was on hosting duties.

But man of the night was Prince Harry, who was honoured with the Pat Tillman Award for Service for his work founding the Invictus Games, his Paralympic-style global competition to support injured and sick servicemen and women.

Ahead of receiving the honour, Harry, 39, appeared close to tears as he listened to former recipients – and Invictus Games competitors – Kirstie Ennis, Elizabeth Marks and Israel Del Toro, give a powerful introduction.
