On June 21, Carrie Underwood's concert residency will reopen at Resorts World Las Vegas. Titled Reflection, the 90-minute spectacle bursts with pyrotechnics, backup performers and glorious costumes. "We go straight for the jugular," the singer, 40, recently told Vegas magazine. "There's not a dull moment in the show."
But off stage, Carrie lives for moments that might seem very dull by comparison. “I love my role as a mom and wife,” the Tennessee-based star told the publication. “I go to baseball practice. It’s wonderfully ordinary, and I love that. In a lot of ways, I lead a double life. I’m mom at home, and then I fly away to Vegas or to go on tour.”
