Actors' strike has killed off scripted shows & entire season

REALITY shows have filled the void of scripted series created by the writers' and actors' strikes in an opportunistic takeover that's changed the landscape of TV programming forever!

Experts say the dramas and sitcoms that captured the hearts of viewers and long dominated the airwaves are now an endangered species soon to be permanently replaced by an endless stream of cheaply produced reality shows.

Although the writers' strike has been settled, the ongoing walkout by members of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) has already obliterated any chance of a 2023-2024 return for beloved scripted shows like NCIS, Law & Order: SVU and Young Sheldon - and they may never be back!

"Studio moguls and television executives will never go back to the old way of doing things now," veteran Hollywood publicist Tommy Lightfoot Garrett tells The National ENQUIRER. "They are spitting out reality TV shows and stars at a fraction of the cost and finding an audience for it, too!

"They're looking at everyone's salaries for scripted TV shows and saying, 'What a waste - we don't NEED those guys!"

Instead, get used to a bunch of no-names dominating the small screen.
