Like a cat with nine lives, Katie Price avoided jail last week when two speeding charges against her were dropped due to insufficient evidence. In June, she also walked away from court after having been previously warned she was facing the “very real” prospect of prison for breaching a restraining order.
Now, a source close to the 44-year-old former glamour model has told new that Katie feels she has been given a “lifeline” and is determined to marry fiancé Carl Woods, 33, as soon as possible – even if it means going ahead with the wedding without her family present.
“Katie and Carl are seriously thinking about Thailand for their wedding and she’s been trying on dresses while they’re on holiday there,” reveals our source. “Carl previously wanted to marry her in Saint Lucia, so it isn’t surprising that they’re thinking about a wedding abroad. Katie has been given a lifeline and she’s determined to grab it with both hands.”
