TOWIE fans were left reeling last week following Amber Turner’s announcement that she and boyfriend Dan Edgar have split after six years together – and new can finally reveal the real reason behind her bombshell decision.

A source close to reality star Amber, 29, claims that rumours of infidelity tipped her over the edge, leading her to realise she and Dan are “not on the same page” with what they want from a partner.

“She’s keen to settle down and start a family, but there have been rumours about him behaving inappropriately in the past, and deep down, Amber couldn’t trust him,” they tell new.

Our source also explains that Amber had become tired of making excuses for Dan’s behaviour and wants a man who will make her reputation a priority. They add, “She won’t start a family with someone she thinks is less mature than her.”

The pair have been an item since 2017 but have had a rocky relationship, with allegations of Dan being unfaithful. They temporarily brought an end to their romance in both 2018 and 2019. During the latter break Dan had a short-term fling with TOWIE pal Chloe Sims before he and Amber made amends.
