Standing proudly beside her new husband following their star-studded nuptials in Nottingham last week, Line Of Duty star Vicky McClure looked like the happiest bride on the planet.
Surrounded by close friends, family and Vicky's famous co-stars, the actress and Welsh film producer Jonny Owen said "I do" on Friday 11 August and celebrated with a day of love, laughter and some incredibly moving musical performances.
Announcing the news to her 745,000 Instagram followers the next day with two gorgeous snaps from the wedding, Vicky referred to her beloved hometown, saying, "Tied up in Notts!!!" Best. Day. Ever!!!! @jonathanowen71."
Dressed in a stunning off-the-shoulder, floor-length Kate Halfpenny gown with a thigh-high split and lace veil, Vicky, 40, looked stunning. As she clutched her beautiful floral bouquet, the delighted groom was already celebrating with a glass of champagne.
Despite her celebrity status, down-to-earth Vicky kept things real and as well as champagne, she provided guests with cans of Red Stripe lager and copious cups of Yorkshire Tea at the bash.
Her Line Of Duty co-stars Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar, show creator Jed Mercurio and fellow actor Paddy Considine then worked up a sweat on the dance floor.
Loved-up Vicky met Jonny more than 10 years ago when they filmed a movie he wrote and directed called Svengali. Vicky says she fell in love with the 52-year-old before she'd even met him and immediately knew that he was the one.
Recalling their first conversation, she said, "When we first spoke it was on the phone. I came off the phone and I just knew. I've never loved anyone more than I've loved Jonny."
Jonny, who was previously married to Eleanor Braines and has a daughter - Katie, 25 - from that relationship, fell in love with Vicky just as quickly.
