‘I’ll be boiling if the Netflix show doesn’t go to number one,” proclaims Tyson Fury. Boxing’s world heavyweight champion is not used to settling for second best, as OK! discovers on joining the sporting legend and his wife Paris to discuss At Home With The Furys, their latest foray into the world of reality TV.
Giving viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of life in their lavish Morecambe home with their children Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah, four, and two-year Athena – and with another baby on the way – it’s sure to be an action-packed fly-on-the-wall series.
But the Furys are unfazed at the prospect of sharing their home with a camera crew. They simply laugh and say they wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I’m one crazy, bald, fat man no one can ever compete with,” proclaims the flamboyant Tyson. “Then there’s Paris, the six kids, the dogs and my dad, who is TV gold. Number seven is coming in September. It’s a chaotic house, we just close the door and everyone’s screaming and shouting… And you really appreciate bedtime.”
Full-time mum Paris, who is certainly kept on her toes in their £1.7 million mansion, tells us, “Our life is much more different from other people’s and so they’ve always been very interested in what we’re doing. I wouldn’t like it quiet, I wouldn’t like the mundane. I always wanted a big family, lots of children and a full house. If it was any different I couldn’t imagine the quiet.”
Ever the showman, the larger-than-life Tyson, 35, welcomes the challenges that go with TV fame, even if they lead to big changes.
