Kym Marsh may be dealing with the breakdown of her third marriage, but the 46-year-old star put her personal problems behind her last week and turned on the glamour to attend the annual Pride of Manchester awards.
Reports emerged last week that Kym has split from Scottish army major Scott Ratcliff after just 18 months of marriage due to their careers keeping them apart. And the Morning Live presenter who's been hosting the awards since 2019 appeared to confirm her single status as she took to the red carpet without her wedding ring on.
But the star wasn’t letting her recent heartache dampen her spirits and talking ahead of the awards, which honours Mancunians for things such as bravery, fundraising or being a hero in their local community, Kym said how excited” she was. It’s just a wonderful night. love coming here and celebrating the people of Manchester,” she said.
Kym certainly seemed like she was ready to celebrate and looked stunning in a long off-the-shoulder black dress with a plunging neckline. She was accompanied at the event by her daughter Emilie Cunliffe, 25, who Kym is currently starring with in the Take That musical Greatest Days. Budding singer Emilie, who was dressed in a sleek black jumpsuit, showed off her vocal talents at the awards and kicked off the show with a song which left her mum beaming with pride and telling the audience she has the voice of an angel”.
