On holiday, you can usually spot the couples who have been married for a few decades – they’re the ones bickering about who forgot to bring the sunscreen and who’s nicked the best tanning spot! But after nearly 25 years of marriage, David and Victoria Beckham looked more loved-up than ever on their latest sunshine vacation.
The still-smitten parents-of-four, who tied the knot in 1999 after two years of dating, were spotted kicking back on their luxury yacht after arriving at the stunning island of Capri. They were joined by their two youngest children, 18-year-old Cruz and Harper Seven, 12, for the trip at sea. Middle son Romeo, who turns 21 this week, remained in the UK where he’s focused on his budding football career with Brentford’s B team and eldest Brooklyn, 24, was with his wife Nicola Beckham-Peltz in the US.
Proving that true love never dies, the former Spice Girl, 49, couldn’t stay away from her shirtless husband, 48, and as they soaked up some rays on the sundeck, she casually rested her tanned legs on top of David’s.
The couple were once notorious for their matching ensembles, coordinating their outfits for red carpets and public appearances. While they may have ditched the double denim of the early noughties, Victoria and David were in sync in their crisp white outfits for their Italian trip. David’s smart white shorts showed off his tan, while the fashion designer looked typically chic layering a linen shirt dress over a white bikini, accessorising with a wide-brimmed sun hat. Harper also got the style memo, in a strapless white dress. But Cruz opted out of the theme, dipping in and out of the crystal clear waters in a pair of red swimming trunks.
