The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards may have been delayed by four months owing to strikes by writers and actors, but the event certainly did not disappoint when it finally went ahead at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles last Monday.
The stars were out in force to celebrate the best performances, shows, directors and writers in television over the past 12 months and the awards had plenty of glamour, humour and emotion.
Hannah Waddingham flew the flag for Great Britain as she took the stage in a backless, seafoam green Marchesa dress alongside Rustin star Colman Domingo to present the Governors Award to GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Also doing their bit for the UK on the night were Loki actor Tom Hiddleston and his actress fiancée, Zawe Ashton, who looked stunning in a yellow floor-length Zuhair Murad creation.
The couple, who are thought to have welcomed their first child last October, mingled with the likes of Selena Gomez, who opted for a semi-sheer Oscar de la Renta gown, Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega, who was super chic in Dior, and The Marvellous Mrs Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan, who was nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category.
The Crown’s Elizabeth Debicki, who was pipped to the post in the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category by The White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge, kept things simple in a backless Dior gown, while Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter Riley Keough, who was nominated for her performance in Daisy Jones and The Six, were the picture of elegance in black Chanel.
