"Hair tells a lot through emotions," says MaryAnn Hennings, hair department head for the Amazon Prime show about a fictional '70s rock band. For iconic lead singer Daisy (played by Riley Keough), that meant long, red curls to convey a uniquely confident personality. "She owned the room when she walked in," Hennings says. Her inspiration? Stevie Nicks, of course.

For band founder Billy Dunne's love interest, Camila, the strand supervisor wanted "to give her a soft, beautiful, Earth Mother warm glow." Since actress Camila Morrone came to set with bangs, extensions were used to create flowing, center-parted waves à la Love Story star Ali MacGraw.
