While splashing about in the warm water on the French Riviera on August 8, Damian Lewis couldn’t wipe the smile off his face. As he threw his arms around girlfriend Alison Mosshart and pulled her in close for a smooch, the reason for his newfound happiness became crystal clear.

The actor, 52, and the musician, 44, have spent the last week soaking up the sun and surf during a romantic trip to Saint-Tropez. The pair began seeing each other around a year ago, after they were first spotted together in June 2022 while attending a fundraising event at London’s National Portrait Gallery.

“They have mutual friends,” Mosshart’s mother Vivian told the Mail Online at the time. “I don’t know exactly how they met but I’m fine with it. If she’s happy, we are happy.”
