Diwali was around the corner, and he wanted them to celebrate it with joy this time. He then called a meeting with all the forest residents.
He said, "I learned that you are not pleased with how we celebrate Diwali in our forest. This meeting is for you to talk about your concerns freely. After listening to you, we will decide how to celebrate Diwali this year."
Rocky dog came forward and said, "Your Highness, everyone knows that dogs have a strong sense of hearing. When everyone lights firecrackers during Diwali, the noise bothers us a lot."
After Rocky, the herbivores, like the cows and deer, said, "Your Highness, on the day after Diwali, we end up eating burnt firecrackers along with the grass. The torn wrappers and ash mix with the grass, so we cannot separate them. The chemicals in the crackers disturb our digestive systems."
"Your Highness, I was so confused by the noise of the firecrackers last time that I got lost. I roamed around all night and reached home only in the morning," Meenu sparrow said.
"Although I managed to reach my home, a burning rocket hit my nest and burned my wings. I couldn't fly for many days," complained Myra myna.
"Your Highness, owls are the worst affected. We hunt at night, but with the excessive lights, we end up hitting buildings and remain hungry for the entire night," Owly owl said.
