"Hey, Myra, I am here," Mummy said while trimming a rose plant.
"I got the first place. Look at my award!" "Wow, that is great, Myra," Mummy praised her, looking at her trophy.
"Now, take me to eat samosas; you said that you would treat me if I got the first prize," Myra said, grinning.
"Well, Myra, we had samosas yesterday, didn't we?" Mummy reminded her.
"Yes, Mummy. But we can have them today also since you promised, right?" asked Myra.
"Okay Myra. We'll go in the evening to eat samosas," Mummy agreed.
"That's great! I'm so excited!" Myra exclaimed.
Seven-year-old Myra's love for samosas had increased a lot. For the past month, she had been craving samosas almost every day.
Myra and her mother were returning after having samosas in the evening.
Myra's eyes fell on the rose bush on the back wall of the house from a distance.
"Oh, Mummy, look at these clusters of roses!" she exclaimed.
"Yes, they just bloomed today," replied Mummy, also admiring the roses.
"It looks like my red frock hanging upside down," Myra added.
"Myra, that's so true, they are beautiful," Mummy agreed.
Both Myra and her Mummy came closer to the wall.
"Wow, Mummy, look at the size of this pot," Myra said, looking at the huge pot of roses with awe.
"Mummy, these rose bushes have grown so much that they bend over to our neighbour Uncle Taneja's house." "Yes," Mummy agreed.
They both enjoyed the beauty of the roses for a while and then went home.
The next day, Myra went to school, and Mummy went to the doctor as she wanted advice on how to reduce Myra's cravings.
The doctor heard her out and said, "When children play a lot, their bodies don't retain enough energy and once they start eating junk food to recharge themselves, they build a craving towards it. Fried foods is always craved for by kids."
