THE STRANGE HISTORY OF THE KG 200 LUFTWAFFE UNIT THAT FLEW CAPTURED ALLIED AIRCRAFT GETS EVEN MORE SURREAL
WOLF HOUND

Cast: James Maslow, Trevor Donovan, John Wells

Director: Michael B Chait

DVD release: 25 July 2022

Wolf Hound is set in 1944 German-occupied France and follows the daring exploits of Jewish-American fighter pilot Captain David Holden (Maslow). He and a fellow P-51 pilot escort a lone B-17 on a special bombing operation but are intercepted by a captured Spitfire and Hurricane flown by the Luftwaffe’s KG 200 unit. In the ensuing engagement the B-17 crash lands in enemy territory, while both P-51s and the Spitfire and Hurricane are shot down.

While Holden parachutes to safety, his comrade is killed. Similarly, the German Hurricane pilot dies, but his fellow pilot survives by baling out and Holden and the German stalk each other in a cat-and-mouse escapade through a forest, which eventually sees Holden captured.
