When Lizzo wrote that iconic line in 'Truth Hurts', she must have had Barbie Ferreira in mind. We know her best as the once-shy, now fierce Kat Hernandez from the popular show Euphoria, and while we got to know her as Kat, the model and actress is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
BACK TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Growing up in Queens, New York, Ferreira admits that, much like her onscreen alterego, she went through a style transformation in her teens, especially when she started modelling for American Apparel. She was gaining success in her acting career, but still went on to pursue campaigns with H&M, Forever 21, Adidas and Aerie, amongst other big names. She's never been camerashy, and when she rose to fame in the Teen Vogue series Body Party, she started championing body positivity.
