The only reason Bhakti Mehta, the founder and chef of the Mumbai-based popular gourmet catering business The Little Food Co, started cooking was because she didn't like the regular food served at home. "My mum was a great cook but I T didn't like Gujarati food or daily home food," she recalls. "When I was 16, just out of school, I was fussing about the food at home, and my mum said if I didn't want to eat what was made, I should cook for myself. And I did! And I soon fell in love with the process."
