The first season of Before We Die – based on the hit Swedish series of the same name – seamlessly transported the action to Bristol, where Detective Inspector Hannah Laing (Lesley Sharp) found herself engaged in a deadly battle against a Croatian crime family.

Teaming up with Billy Murdoch (Vincent Regan), an expert on Eastern European drug gangs, Hannah was determined to bring down the Mimica clan – led by the ruthless Davor (Toni Gojanović) under the watchful eyes of his steely mother Dubravka (Kazia Pelka).
