DRAMA Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light Sunday, 9pm, BBC1
For decades, King Henry VIII has dreamt of having a son who would one day inherit his throne and continue the Tudor dynasty.
He was disappointed when his first two wives could only give him daughters, but in this week's episode of Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light, he hopes his prayers might finally have been answered.
Less than a year after their marriage, his third wife, Jane Seymour (Kate Phillips) reveals she is pregnant, bringing great joy to all in Henry's court.
