Ernest Shackleton's attempt to cross Antarctica famously ended in a stirring tale of triumph over adversity. After his ship Endurance was crushed by pack ice and sank in November 1915, the explorer and his men were forced to travel to safety across hundreds of miles in freezing conditions - miraculously, all 27 of the crew survived.
In 2022, an expedition set out to attempt to locate the wreck, with historian Dan Snow and film cameras on board.
