Despite criticism of Saudi Arabia’s ‘sportswashing’, British boxer Anthony Joshua returns to the kingdom on Saturday with the guarantee of a huge payday as he attempts to win back the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles.
Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk sensationally took the belts from Joshua in London last September at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where the 35-year-old won by a unanimous decision, and Saturday’s fight will be his first defence of the titles.
