One hundred years into the future, the spacecraft Ark One is carrying a test group of settlers to a planet that could provide a new home for humanity as Earth reaches the end of its habitable life.

But with their destination still one year away, a cataclysmic event causes huge damage to the vessel, killing many of its crew, including its most-senior officers. As the settlers are brought out of cryogenic sleep, they discover that their mission leaders have perished, and they will have to learn fast if they’re to have any hope of surviving.
