Born bought up in the tri-city, Amit Jain is a Post law Graduate from University of Warwick. He practiced law for some years but eventually boredom set in and he remembered that his father, who had a deep interest in astrology, would always say that Amit would do very well in the field of gemstones & jewellery.
That is when this lawyer decided to do justice to his Heart and switch careers!
"Law is a very interesting field - it is just that I realised that it was not MY true calling. I have always been fascinated by luxury and that is why I switched to the luxury jewellery business."
The beginning of Amit's journey was far from luxury though. "Yes, it was anything but luxury. I left everything here and moved to Surat to understand the Diamond trade. After years of being a high court lawyer, here I was, learning the ropes in a Diamond jewellery manufacturing factory which was owned by my father's friend. I was learning under their guidance. Then during the learning process, I used to share their products with my friends and family over WhatsApp every day - with their permission of course. I starting getting customers and starting earning very small amounts which built up my confidence. Then they offered me partnership for Delhi. However, I followed my heart yet again and set out to do my own thing.
