Frank Gehry teams up with Louis Vuitton's High Watchmaking métier to design Tambour Moon Flying Tourbillon Poinçon de Genève Sapphire Frank Gehry.

Pritzker Architecture Prize winner Frank Gehry needs no introduction — known for his nonconformist and boundary pushing structures: Guggenheim Museum, Walt Disney Concert Hall and Vitra Design Museum, to name a few. Famously, Louis Vuitton has tapped on the Canadian-born starchitect to design the iconic Fondation Louis Vuitton building and Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul.

Beyond architecture, Gehry has also collaborated with the Maison for its fashion and fragrance universes. For its 160th anniversary’s “Celebrating Monogram” project in 2014, the prolific creative left his aesthetical mark through the Twisted Box bag. He then designed his first perfume bottle for the Louis Vuitton Les Extraits Collection, embodying the spirit of sailing through an imaginary metal flower cap that reflects the sea and spray.

Unveiled in the latest Art Basel Miami Beach, the Louis Vuitton x Frank Gehry Collection featured four key themes: Architecture and Form, Material Exploration, Animals and Twisted Box. The limited edition, comprising 11 bags, includes audacious new creations and Capucines bag reinterpretations. On the back of this exclusive capsule, Gehry now kicks up his Louis Vuitton partnership, collaborating with La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton to create his first High Watchmaking timepiece creation, Tambour Moon Flying Tourbillon Poinçon de Genève Sapphire Frank Gehry.
